Brohaugh Residence
Sitting atop a knoll and over looking their newly planted vineyard, the owners of this craftsman style home first created their own three dimensional model and then asked a certified Disney Imagineer to draw it up. The result speaks for itself. A master bedroom in the shape of an octagon graces one end of the house. A great room, boasting an impressive array of old world timbers fastened with hammered steel custom made connections anchors the center of the home and features a custom crafted spiral staircase. Two cupolas, one in the middle of the master bedroom and one over the main living area, dominate a roofline that is anything but ordinary. Finish work is all vertical grain fir in a traditional craftsman style which is complimented by stained concrete floors through the house. This project required painstaking attention to detail because of the large amounts of exposed framing and the intricate connections.
Our motto for this project became:
“The difficult can take a really long time,
the impossible will take a little longer.”
It would be our privilege to take you to this incredible project and have you meet the owners, Wally and Kassy Brohaugh.
