Charlie Main has been our associate and friend since 1991.  We first met him in January of that year to interview him as a prospective builder of our soon to be built home in Kohala Ranch, Hawaii.

We were impressed by his youth, enthusiasm and experience as a “high end” home builder.  We contracted with him to build our 5000 sf home which he accomplished in eight months with no hitches.

Later we decided to build a large home for resale at the Mauna Lani Resort. 
We contracted with Charlie as a partner to build this second 5000 square foot home which he built in less than a year, again with no hitches.  The home was featured in the Hawaii Architectural Design Magazine and ultimately sold for $2.3 million.

Charlie is a master builder, finding and using subs wisely.  A good bargainer for materials, he keeps cost within budget.  He posses special talent for design and use of materials.  Even though we had well known architects, Charlie’s input in these areas was indispensable. We would employ Charlie Main in the future to build for us.
