St. Timothy's
St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Morro Bay began as a project to remove dry rot and fix earthquake damage. After taking a trip to Taliesin West near Scottsdale, Arizona, to meet with John Rattenbury, one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s apprentices, Charlie Main and the building committee were inspired to include some time-tested design concepts. Deep red concrete, red brick pavers and lush plantings now flow through the campus. The Church has received a dynamic copper eave structure with open skylight wells and new field-built dual pane windows to allow more natural light into the building.
